About us

APS Ltd is an information management company specialising in projects primarily, but not exclusively, in the higher and further education sectors of the United Kingdom. We've been operating since 1998 and have an extensive portfolio of clients and services.

Our Approach

We pride ourselves on our holistic, systems thinking approach. We always strive to provide a service that meets our clients needs through discussions that clarify those needs at the start. We have a range of techniques at our disposal including, amongst others:

  • Systems thinking methodologies, such as Soft Systems, Systems Failures and Hard Systems approaches
  • Service Design
  • Requirements engineering
  • Process and information modelling using UML and Archimate
  • XML schema development
  • Information mapping and transformation, using proprietary and open source software tools.

However, our main strength is communicating well with our clients to mutual benefit.


APS Ltd has been operating since 1998. Our clients have included organisations throughout the UK, including national institutions, such as UCAS and JISC, many universities and colleges, and a range of smaller local organisations, such as drugs advisory agencies.
