Consists of Scenarios Pre-application marketing, Recruiting-Additional Factors: decision-processing
Description 'Paper-lite' refers to a type of UCAS-based electronic admissions that reduces the amount of paper used in the admissions processes within an HEI. The implementation by Derby University removes the need for a paper UCAS application form (known as a 'copy application form'), replacing it with a cut-down Decision Sheet that is used by selectors to record their decisions. Selectors obtain information about the application from UCAS' Web-link applications system, from the university's own systems and from the Decision Sheet. Academic staff record decisions on the Decision Sheet, and the decisions are then keyed by administrative staff in the Central Admissions Office. Admissions records are linked to earlier 'pre-application' marketing information.
