Description | The matching of applicants holding no offer to those remaining places at HEIs. Applications through Clearing include applicants who applied earlier in the cycle who have no offers and late applications. Most HEIs have special arrangements for Clearing, both for advertising their places and for management of the applications. In the UCAS system there are scheme rules for Clearing processes. |
